Hi, I'm Heather Davis
I've been doing SEO for more than 15 years, which means I've been around long enough to remember when ranking in Google looked very different than it does today.
I live in East Tennessee and work with small businesses that want one fairly simple thing: to be found by the people looking for what they offer.
The complicated part is that "being found" isn't so simple anymore.
Traditional SEO still matters, but search has expanded far beyond ten blue links on Google. People find businesses through Google Maps, local search results, AI Overviews, ChatGPT and other AI assistants, recommendation platforms, and search experiences that didn't exist when I started doing this.
That's where All the EOs comes from.
SEO. AEO. GEO. And Whatever EO Comes Next.
I've spent my career adapting to changes in search.
Today that means working with SEO, search engine optimization, AEO, answer engine optimization, GEO, generative engine optimization, local search, AI visibility, content strategy, technical optimization, and the other pieces that determine whether a business gets found online.
Tomorrow? Someone will probably invent another EO. I'll learn that one too.
I don't believe small businesses need to chase every new acronym or jump on every marketing trend. They need to understand which changes actually matter, which ones don't, and where their time and money are most likely to make a difference.
That's what I help businesses figure out.
More Than Rankings
Getting to the top of Google is great. Getting there for a search that actually brings customers is better.
My approach starts with understanding the business, the customer, and how those customers search. From there, I look at the entire search presence rather than treating SEO as a checklist.
That can mean improving a website, building useful content, strengthening local visibility, developing authority, targeting better search terms, improving how a business appears in AI-generated answers, or finding opportunities competitors have overlooked.
Sometimes the answer is traditional SEO. Sometimes it isn't.
The goal is visibility that contributes to the business, not impressive-looking reports filled with numbers that don't.
I've Watched SEO Change. A Lot.
Fifteen years in SEO teaches you something important: there is no permanent playbook.
Algorithms change. Search behavior changes. Platforms change. Strategies that worked beautifully five years ago may accomplish very little today.
And now AI is changing search again.
I don't pretend to know exactly what search will look like five years from now. Nobody does.
What I do know how to do is test, research, adapt, and figure out what is working now. That's what I've been doing for more than 15 years.
Don't Want to Do All This Yourself?
A lot of what I share through All the EOs is designed to help business owners understand search and improve their own visibility.
You absolutely can do many of these things yourself.
You may also reach a point where you think, "I understand what needs to be done. I just don't want to do it."
That's where I come in. If you'd like an experienced set of eyes on your business, let's talk about where you're showing up, where you're not, and what opportunities might be worth pursuing.
